Video Production Flow

Video Production Flow

Video is a core part of ADR Studio Management’s creative output β€” from social content to brand storytelling, product promos, and animated explainers. This workflow ensures every video project moves efficiently from idea to execution with creative clarity and technical precision.

🎬 Overview of the Flow

  1. Briefing

  2. Scripting

  3. Storyboard & Style Reference

  4. Asset Collection

  5. Editing & Animation

  6. Internal Review

  7. Client Feedback & Revisions

  8. Final Delivery

πŸ“ 1. Briefing

The project begins with a clear brief outlining:

  • Purpose and objective of the video

  • Target audience

  • Platform (social, web, internal, etc.)

  • Duration

  • Key messages or script ideas

  • Deadline and format requirements

Briefs are submitted via ClickUp or internal templates.

✍️ 2. Scripting

If needed, the content team or video lead writes a script that includes:

  • Voice-over or narration (if applicable)

  • On-screen text

  • Scene transitions

  • Call-to-action elements

Scripts are reviewed internally before moving to visuals.

πŸ–Ό 3. Storyboard & Style Reference

The design or video team creates:

  • A rough storyboard (scene-by-scene visual breakdown)

  • Style references (color palette, typography, animation tone)

  • Thumbnail sketches or Figma frames if needed

This step ensures everyone is aligned on look & feel.

πŸ“¦ 4. Asset Collection

Gather or create all necessary materials:

  • Logos, icons, illustrations, branding elements

  • Voice-over files (internal or external voice talent)

  • Background music (licensed or royalty-free)

  • Stock footage or custom footage

Store everything in the dedicated Google Drive folder for that project.

βœ‚οΈ 5. Editing & Animation

Using tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, the video editor assembles and animates the content:

  • Syncs with music or voice-over

  • Adds transitions, motion graphics, and subtitles

  • Ensures pacing matches objective (snappy, cinematic, educational, etc.)

πŸ” 6. Internal Review

  • First cut is shared with the team (via Frame.io, ClickUp, or Google Drive)

  • Feedback is collected in context

  • Adjustments are implemented before client preview

Avoid long feedback loops by being clear and structured in review comments.

πŸ“€ 7. Client Feedback & Revisions

  • Share the preview link with the client

  • Collect clear revision requests

  • Apply changes efficiently, with no more than 2 full revision rounds (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Keep all versions saved and referenced

βœ… 8. Final Delivery

  • Export in the correct format (MP4, MOV, vertical/landscape, etc.)

  • Check resolution, file size, and aspect ratio

  • Upload to the Final Delivery folder on Google Drive or BOX Drive

  • Notify client or team via Slack with the final link

πŸ”§ Tools Used

  • Adobe Premiere Pro – for editing

  • Adobe After Effects – for motion graphics and animation

  • DaVinci Resolve – for color grading and advanced editing

  • Frame.io – for review and feedback (when needed)

  • WeTransfer / Google Drive / BOX Drive – for sharing and archiving

Clarity, consistency, and creativity β€” that's our production mantra. Every video is a chance to make our ideas move and inspire.
